(The soaking of Derek Powell - one of Ebenezer Church's leaders - at the car wash is memorable). Prayer requests will be on line later this evening too.

What is the Noise?

The Noise is about using acts and deeds of service to communicate the heart of the good news of Jesus. It's a practical way to reach out to the community that everyone can get into. Its about 'showing Gods love in practical ways.'

The Bible speaks clearly of worship, love, evangelism, servanthood, and the church's work to continue the ministry of Jesus. This kingdom lifestyle is non-negotiable and calls us to action. However, how this truth is expressed is negotiable. The Noise is
just one expression of touching community and part of what local church does as a whole. No pride or patronising spirit welcome but just genuine love and expression of God's love.

Lockleaze, Horfield and Manor Farm is an area in Bristol where Ebenezer Church and Bridge Community Church have been working, over the last four years. St James Church was launched in June 2005 in Lockleaze.

'The Noise' is a high profile event to show the community what is happening all year round, by local churches showing God's love in practical ways.

What is this blogsite?

During the weekend of the North Bristol Noise (29th April-1st May), this blogsite will be updated in the evenings, with photos, video clips, prayer requests, etc about what has been happening across the community of Lockleaze, Horfield and Manor Farm.
Anyone can add comments, stories, and feedback by clicking on the comments button at the bottom of each post. It's an exciting weekend to show God's love in practical ways to this local community.
